The Daily Record and Sunday Mail have teamed up with Skills for Success, a leading educational software company, to give every primary school in Scotland the opportunity to get £3000 worth of educational software free.

What will your school get?
You will get the site licence for levels P1 to P3 and P4 to P7 for literacy, numeracy and science.

How do I get the free software for my school?
Just collect 100 tokens from the Daily Record and Sunday Mail from Saturday August 30 to Friday September 5, 2008. At least five tokens must be from the Sunday Mail on August 31, 2008.  So that means you only need to get 50 kids to bring in a just two tokens each.

Once you have your tokens, send them back in an envelope to the Marketing Department at the Daily Record and we will send you out your site license.

What is Skills for Success?

• Skills for Success is a unique educational concept that is themed around sport on a PC. The package that you will receive for your school is based around the Scottish football team and is endorsed by the SFA.
• It captures kids’ enthusiasm for sport and productively channels it towards learning across core subjects of Literacy, Numeracy and Science, supporting the teacher and bringing fun into the classroom.
• It was written, tested and designed by teachers, parents and pupils.
• It uses the Scottish Curriculum subjects as taught in primary schools.
• It is proven to improve the concentration levels of pupils.
• It improves the behaviour of pupils in class.
